Man responsible for four murders, including two policemen, arrested

Hu Yihua (胡益华), a native of Zhejiang, shot down two policemen in Guangdong and a couple in Zhejiang. His arrest in Xiamen yesterday has been covered in papers today. Newspaper gave him the title ‘sole bandit’ (Southern Metropolis Daily) and ‘ evil demon’ (Dongguan Times.

Many wish good luck to Hu Shuli’s new magazine Century Weekly

Chang Ping on how “Internet addiction disorder” is a joke

On July 16 Chang Ping (also known as Zhang Ping), who used to be the deputy editor of the Southern Metropolis Weekly wrote an opinion piece in Southern Metropolis Daily questioning whether “internet addiction” could even be seen as an illness.
