Is the Green Dam filter experimenting on computer users?
Today’s The Beijing News ran an op-ed piece by well-known Chinese commentator Hu Yong, a journalism professor at PKU, author of books about the digital age in China, blogger and oldhand journalist, about the topic of the “green dam”, which has been debated loudly on the Internet as well as offline media.

Asimov Published, Interviewed in Beijing
Cover story from this week’s Book Review section of The Beijing News announces the publication of a Chinese translation of Isaac Asimov’s complete Foundation series. Yup, the Beijing News has scored a fictional interview with “I, Asimov”. They’ve been taking similar liberties recently in their entertainment sections, captioning photographs of celebrities with made-up quotes.
