Asian Games 2010 torch passed around the country

The relay of the Asia Games 2010 torch began its cycle on October 12. The picture of today’s Southern Metropolis Daily shows a Dongguan “Horse King” with the torch － the Director of the Dongguan Municipal Committee Liu Zhigeng (刘志庚) － who is handing the torch to basketball player Du Feng (杜锋).

Inside the Southern Metropolis Daily, an Internet rumor about the local government of Liji town of Gushi county, Henan Xinyang (河南信阳固始县黎集镇) asking for “water fees” for collecting rain to grow crops. The claims, although denied, are under investigation.
