Big Tree County and Sulphur mining

Big Tree County (大树县), in Sichuan Province, is the site of a large sulfur mine. In 1992 Hao Zhiqiang produced a 60-minute documentary on how the mine wiped out the trees that gave the county its name, and affected the people living there.
