On the evening of October 20, on the campus of Xi’an University, when the 26-year-old waitress Zhang Meng (张萌 pseudonym) was going home from work, she was hit by a Chevrolet Cruze. After the offender escaped the police found that apart from the victim’s car wounds, there were also eight wounds caused by a knife.
