Ahem. While doing research about Naspers, the South African media company that is apparently going to take a major stake in Beijing Media Corp, the Danwei editorial team stumbled upon Sportscn.com.
Sportscn.com is a sports website that is owned or at least associated with Tencent, a Naspers subsidiary. As you can see from the image reproduced here, Sportscn.com’s image libraries give Xinhua and Northeast Sports a run for their money. Most of the images seem to be scans from magazines like Max and FHM.
