Oil painting by Qingdao artist Da Mao
Qingdao MAX is a new annual art and cultural event in Qingdao, organized by the people behind the city’s English-language magazine and website Red Star.
The event is dedicated to “showing off some of the creative resources that Qingdao has to offer, alongside artists and musicians from other parts of China and indeed the world.” There’s a concert on Friday evening March 30, with Saturday and Sunday devoted to art and film.
