World Wide Fund for Nature and Earth Hour

Yesterday morning, as I was cruising along in a taxi, FM87.6 Beijing Arts Radio (北京文艺广播) reminded me that it was time to make this post. They had a mirage of voices who all claimed that they will shut down the electricity in their shops, their homes or their bar for one hour on Saturday March 28th, starting at 8:30pm.

Earth hour is getting more publicity as Saturday draws near. Its spokesperson, actress Li Bingbing (李冰冰) appears on the cover of the current issue of Time Out Chinese, holding an energy-saving lightbulb and inside, an interview about how she conserves energy.
