Beijing-based art events organizer Rania Ho is looking for graffitti artists for an event. It’s a commercial gig and it pays. Interested graffitti artists should contact rania@dancingtoasters.com.
Rania is also organizing an exhibition on September 21 called 24 hours. A group of 10 artist will all present works which will run for 24 hours from 3pm on September 21 to 3pm the next day.
One of the features of the event is an artistic attempt to destroy the song “Hotel California” in a 24 hour sark fest performed by bands, DJs, spoken word artists, dancers etc., who are invited to help crush the Eagles song that has been causing serious auditory pollution in China for the last two decades. 打倒加洲酒店！Let’s hope Country Roads and everything ever recorded by Kenny G are next on the list.
