During a press conference held in Beijing on Wednesday, it was announced that on July 26, the British footie behemoth Manchester United will face Beijing Xiandai in a friendly match at the Workers Stadium, as part of the Red Devils’ 2005 Asia Tour. Representing the British club at the press conference was Sir Bobby Charlton, football legend and director of the glorious Mancunian squad.
As part of the agreement between the 2 clubs was the commitment for Manchester United to take along all its major stars.
Asked about his expectations from the friendly match, Sir Bobby said he believes the Red Devils will face a tough opponent.
