Yao Ming’s image appeared on the front pages of most newspapers again today. Last night, the Chinese men’s basketball team achieved a phenomenal 67-66 victory over world champions Serbia & Montenegro. Yao had promised that he would not shave his beard if the Chinese team did not get through to the semifinals.
