Starting yesterday, various memorial events have been held to mark the 60th anniversary of the Allied victory that ended World War II on the European continent. These activities also became highlights for the Chinese media. Most nationwide TV stations and newspapers have special reports on this topic.
Today, most media focused on Red Square of Moscow, Russia. A military parade celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Allied defeat of Nazi Germany was held there. Russian President Vladimir Putin and other state leaders from more than 50 countries, and veterans survived from WWII joined this parade.
