Beijing is now making full preparation for the upcoming ninth Fortune Global Forum which themes “China and the New Asian Century.” President Hu Jintao of China will attend the Forum and deliver the keynote address at the gala opening on the evening of 16 May.
Special Forum Logo to suit Beijing
In order to suit Beijing’s heritage and culture, it is the first time the Forum logo is changed from blue to red. The gala opening will be hold at The Temple of Heaven, and a big Forum logo which made of thousands of red carnation has already set up there today. For the weather concern, the organizer also provide The Great Hall of People as alternate to hold the opening ceremony.
Special media kits for journalists worldwide
The media center of the Forum is in The St. Regis Beijing. The organizer prepared special media kits for the journalists, it includes:
