The Olympics just won’t go away: even the gala reception to welcome Chinese medalists from Athens is getting a lot of media coverage. But today, let’s take a look at some other people in the media:

Handicapped people ride motorcycles to watch flag raising ceremony at Tian’anmen square

This event was organized by Haidian Handicapped Persons Association. Most of the members who attended sang the national anthem at the ceremony (pictured in the front page photo from The Beijing News on the left.

Female government employees: do not be sexy

According to Oriental Morning Post of Shanghai, a new regulation launched in the Personal File Department of Zhejiang province, prohibits female staff from wearing sexy or revealing clothes. Female government employees are supposed to be serious.

Half of Chinese middle-aged men suffer from impotence

According to a report from The People’s Hospital of Peking University, 52.5% of men aged from 40 to 70 in China are suffering from erectile dysfunction. Apparently they often visit doctors after 22 months after having the problem.
