If you get out from some subway exits which are far from downtown Beijing, you will see many motor tricycles taxis waiting for you. These cabs are mostly owned by people without official certificates. When the police arrive, these drivers will drive dreadfully to escape the “cats”.
But there are always some brave “mice”. Yesterday, when a motor tricycle driver was detected by a police in Wukesong subway station, he did not choose to escape but stayed and talked to the cop. When the cop made moves to detain him, he just took off all his own clothes to resist.
The rebel finally got arrested. It was apparently the first time Beijing police had encountered this form of resistance when going after illegal cabs.
