The November issue of Rich and Famous (mingxing shidai) magazine is out. The cover features Yi Nengjing, singer, TV actor and author of cheesy books. The rest of the magazine covers a mix of Chinese and foreign celebrities.
One of the most interesting articles is a profile of Beida Huayi film studio founder and chairman Dong Ping. Beida Huaiyi is the studio behind Zhang Yimou’s ‘Hero’ (Yingxiong) and the major Chinese company involved in ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’.
