This is Newsweek Select, a bowdlerized digest of Newsweek content, translated into Chinese. Most of the content is from international editions of the magazine, but there are also some locallly produced articles.
The magazine is published once a month in Beijing , and sent to people on VIP junk mail lists rather than being sold. ‘Newsweek Select’ does not have a publication licence and so cannot be sold at newsstands.
