It seems that Sina.com and People’s Daily Internet bulletin board discussions about Zhao Ziyang have been shut down. But there is a huge number of comments to a short post about Zhao’s death on the popular blog platform Cnblog.org.
Most of them say things like “a truly great man” and “free at last”. One commentor wrote that the “Three Represents represent foolishness, corruption and licentiousness”.

He also notes an Open Net Initiative report about Chinese blog providers’ keyword filtering software. The report looks at three blog platforms which filter users’ posts to eliminate references to an entirely predictable list of people and things.
