My company is trying to be a good corporate citizen and respect IPR wherever we find it. Consequently, we are among the few advertising companies in China that uses only legal design software.
We have been trying to buy legal copies of Microsoft’s Office software for Mac. All the suppliers told us that Microsoft did not manufacture the software any more. So I called Microsoft’s Beijing office to ask about it. The telephone operator told me that Microsoft was not selling any version of Office for Mac later than the 2001 edition. I asked her what we could do.
Her answer: “Find another channel to get it.”
