“Don’t hurt the children,” reads the headline on today’s Jianghuai Morning News. Yesterday afternoon, a man wielding a knife entered a primary school in Leizhou, Guangdong Province and stabbed nineteen students and teachers (the China Daily mentions fifteen students and one teacher).
As illustrated by the paper’s tasteless cartoon (credited to Imaginechina), the victims were hospitalized and police caught the assailant.
