New Culture View is a local daily newspaper published out of Changchun, Jilin Province.
The top headline announces that the Chinese gross domestic product increased 11.5% in the first half of the year. This information comes from a report presented by Ma Kai, director of the National Development and Reform Commission, to a People’s Congress conference on August 29. The NDRC figures also show that government revenue increased 728 billion yuan over the first seven months of the year.
The front page photo shows the three beautiful spokeswomen of the 3rd Northeast Asia Expo, which will be held from August 30 to September 1 in Changchun.
