The Youth Times is a commercial daily run out of Hangzhou by the Zhejiang Youth League. Today’s front page features a large photo of Yukio Hatoyama resigning as Japan’s prime minister. The top headline, “Why is smoke coming out of cracks in the floor,” reports complaints from residents living atop first-floor restaurants.
It’s all typical metro paper stuff. The paper’s website, however, features more tabloidy material.
Shown at right is a front-page teaser: He’s rumored to have spent 4 million to make Fan Bingbing a mistress.
The link goes to a post on the website’s blog service which reported allegations that superstar actress Fan Bingbing had become the mistress of Jia Yun, a wealthy Zhejiang businessman. It’s a short post that offers little more than a few rumors and a blurry photo.
The full article, which was not linked in the blog post, did indeed appear in the Youth Times. But that was back in 2007.
The other six featured stories all have to do with actresses or models, but they’re more current than the rumors about Fan.
