At the 2nd Plenary, after the discussion

Recession? Forget about it!

Danwei’s Third Plenary Session is a panel discussion about creative business in China on January 13 from 7-10pm at the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business just near Wangfujing in Beijing.

Our topics:

How to make real money doing creative work, how to turn yourself from a slacker into a respectable business person, and how to turn skills in music, culture, design, technology and writing into a fun and profitable career.

The speakers are three old hands in both creative and business communities in China, excellent public speakers and not afraid of answering difficult questions.

None of them will bore you with a PowerPoint presentation. They are:

Dominic Johnson-Hill, founder and of Plastered T-shirts and winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year section of the British Business Awards;

Richard Robinson, serial tech entrepreneur, founder of mobile gaming company Kooky Panda and of Chopschticks, which organizes stand up comedy shows across Asia;

Kaiser Kuo, rock star, tech startup veteran and Group Director for Digital Strategy of Ogilvy China

The discussion will be moderated by your correspondent, Jeremy Goldkorn.

The event is free, including snacks and drinks, all you have to do is register by emailing Jonathan Tang at jonathantang@ckgsb.edu.cn.

This event brought to you by Danwei and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business with support from City Weekend.
