Former premier Li Peng has published a new book. No, it’s not The Key Moment, his memoir on 1989 that got blocked last year, but rather the next volume in his series of collected writings on the nation’s power infrastructure. Power Comes First: Li Peng’s diary on electric power follows United Will Paints a Magnificent Tableau: Li Peng’s diary on the Three Gorges and From Start-up to Development: Li Peng’s diary on nuclear power.
The People’s Daily is, naturally, quite impressed.
