KFC invades primary students’ reference books

According to today’s Beijing Morning Post, KFC printed its vouchers (redeemable for KFC snacks) on a reference book used by primary school students. Apparently, kids could not resist and cut the vouchers out from book covers.

One spokesperson from China Eastern Normal University Press which published the book explained: “We did not want to leave the inside cover empty, even we knew that the kids would destroy the cover.”

What a creative and effective adverting medium. And so good for the kids!
