The Chinese word used for ‘party’ is not of the political type, but the faddish word paidui which is a rendering of the English ‘party’ referring to an event where you drink, dance or socialize.
The Chinese characters above People Party read: “More and more people are joining the people party”. Snappy copywriting eh?
