At left you can see the hit South African band Mafikizolo. You can catch them live in Beijing next week Wednesday August 20.

They are in Beijing to participate in South Africa’s Ekhaya Olympic hospitality center in Beijing. Ekhaya is the Zulu word for ‘home’.

All Ekhaya events are free of charge. Activities in the next week include:

South Africa Olympic Hospitality “Ekhaya” Centre Events Diary

The Government of the Republic of South Africa would like to invite you to visit its Olympic Hospitality “Ekhaya” Centre in Beijing. Ekhaya – the Zulu word for ‘home’ – is a venue where all visitors to the Olympics will be treated to a full-sensory experience of South Africa, right in the heart of Beijing.

The Ekhaya Centre is located in the new Westin Hotel in Chaoyang District, open Monday to Friday between 09h00 -17h00 and allows for visitors to learn about South Africa and its hosting of the FIFA 2010 World Cup Football as well as enjoy national snacks and drinks.
