China Petrochemical completed a deal for exclusive ‘name sponsorship’ for the upcoming F1 Shanghai Grand Prix. Sinopec representatives signed an agreement with APM for sponsorship from 2004 to 2006.
Sinopec has been spending a lot money on marketing communications recently. Last year, its Great Wall brand lubricating oil became the exclusive oil for Shenzhou 5’s manned space mission, and the state-owned petrochemical giant has also commissioned movie director Zhang Yimou to shoot its new TV commercial.
