Any news about the Beijing Olympics is popular, and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) has learned to listen to voices from the Chinese and international public. After selecting the logo, mascot and slogan by open competitions, BOCOGis now inviting proposals for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Games. The solicitation for the two proposals started on March 1 and ends on July 31.
