The news about the police arrested the criminal suspects who committed crimes during Spring Festival covered most newspapers in Beijing today. The front page of Beijing Times features a photo that 33-year-old Wang Meng was hanging his head and making no reply to the police in interrogation room. Wang was suspected of being involved in the robbery case which cost RMB 0.54 million at Beijing West Railway Station on Feb 3.
Another arrested criminal comes from Haerbin of Heilongjiang province, he threatened the Spring Festival gala by calling the hotline and falsely alleging that there are bombs at the present of the gala. According to Beijing Daily Messenger, the motive of the criminal is to “vent his anger”.
