Court says blatant ripoff is not a ripoff

Tuesday’s Financial Times reports: A Beijing court rules that Toyota’s logo is not a ‘distinctive brand’ in China.

A Beijing court ‘rejected claims from Toyota that Geely, China’s largest private carmaker had stolen the Japanese company’s logo for use on its “Meiri” sedan’. Let’s have a looksee:
