In June, police in Yixing, Zhejiang busted a workshop that assembled small firearms and promoted their products through the Internet. The bust leads to discovery of a nationwide gun distribution network. According to today’s Yangtse Evening Post, as of now, the police has arrested 540 suspects, seized 590 guns as well as 150,000 bullets.
The newspaper’s headline reports that enterprise retirees across the country would receive a 10% raise in their retirement pension. In Jiangsu Province, the average raise is going to be 146 yuan each.
