Bus 44, a short film by Dayyan Eng (伍仕贤) who is currently shooting Inseparable, a feature film starring American actor Kevin Spacey.
We were alerted to this by an old message on Twitter by Kevin Spacey:
FYI – as some of you know I have been in China filming & unable to access FB & Twitter.
Spacey has been in China for the filming of Inseparable. He plays the role of “mysterious American expat” who encounters “a young troubled Chinese engineer”.
Directed and written by Dayyan Eng (伍仕贤), the film co-stars Daniel Wu and Gong Beibi and will be in Mandarin and English.
Eng’s short film Bus 44, embedded above, won awards at Venice and Sundance film festivals. Eng’s first feature film was Waiting Alone (独自等待).
