The main headline of today’s Oriental Morning Post announces that the ocean level around Shanghai has risen 115 mm over the past 30 years, the second highest among China’s coastal cities. Tianjin is ranked first; the ocean level there has climbed 196 mm, says the State Oceanic Administration, which published the 2007 China Sea Level Report yesterday.
