China launches training courses for senior African auditors

A workshop to train senior auditors from African countries opened Sunday in south China’s island province of Hainan…

…Twenty-four senior audit officials from 14 African countries participated the four-day workshop.

The African auditors will be briefed about China’s auditing practice at various levels by the National Audit Office’s deputy auditor-general Liu Jiayi.

Other training courses include dealing with company’s false accounting, detecting and cracking down on money laundering, financial embezzlement and corruption as well as supervision over government’s public spending…

…Senior audit officials from South Africa, Algeria, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Sudan, Morocco, Ghana, Gabon, Ethiopia, Egypt, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon arrived in Hainan on Saturday to attend the seminar.
