Beijing is in the midst of a new law-enforcement campaign. The next two weeks are marked as “public security and law enforcement weeks,” and Beijing’s PSB, in cooperation with other metropolitan departments, kicked off the anti-filth campaign by raiding a karaoke parlor suspected of operating without a license.
Police are targeting social blights and illegal activities, and to insure honest enforcement, they are swapping positions to act in areas outside their usual beat.
