Chiang Pin-Kun, vice-chairman of the Taiwan-based Chinese Kuomintang party (KMT), visited the Guangzhou Huanghuagang Martyr Cemetery Tuesday morning. It is KMT’s first formal visit to the mainland since the group fled to Taiwan in 1949.

Today the Chiang Pin-kun’s trip schedule gets lots of media coverage. The pictured front page is from The Beijing News 新京报, featuring a photo of Mr. Chiang arriving in Guangzhou.
