Google\u2019s recent moves in China have captured global attention about censorship and Internet controls in China, eliciting protests from inside and outside China.<\/p>\n

But there is a much more entertaining protest about China\u2019s web controls circulating on the Internet\u2013\u201d\u7f51\u763e\u6218\u4e89 War of Internet Addiction\u201d. It is an hour long video, \u201cshot\u201d almost entirely with in-game video from World of Warcraft, satirizing the government\u2019s attempt to \u201charmonize\u201d China\u2019s Internet with forced installations of \u201cGreen Dam Youth Escort\u201d and the travails of Chinese World of Warcraft players over the last several months. It is quite brilliant.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
