His first film, <em>Struggle<\/em> (2001) followed three migrant workers who lost their hands working in factories in Shenzhen.<\/p>\n<p>His second film <em>Nostalgia<\/em> tells a more personal story about the house in which he grew up, a <i>shi ku men<\/i> house in Da Zhongli, Jing\u2019an district. He started making the film when he heard that the area was slated for destruction.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a trailer for <i>Nostalgia<\/i>.
